A lot of us who are married very frequently give in to a little stress and influences and quote things like "Why did I marry?" "I was happy single" "Marriage looks good from a distance".. Well, we know we don't mean all that and those who aren't married please don't take any of it seriously because you will have your versions too...
The fact is that marriage not only gives you a new set of challenges but along with it a companion for life to win over the challenges. How do you know you have made the right choice? The answer should come from within. An answer that depicts sincere conviction.. The best example is the one who writes this...
I blindly but determinedly married a friend knowing that I would at least have a friend at every stage of life. What I dint know was that I chose the best man possible. He understands and cares for me without taking away my space. He doesn't mind teaching me ways of his family but never forces me to do anything that I am not comfortable with. He realizes that I have left my family and walked into his and respects my desicion. He listens to me without bias and ensures we arrive at decisions mutually.
The first conversation I had with him after our wedding was the time I cried the most ( For having left my family) and when he held my hand all he said was "I'm with you, please don't cry I'll take you to meet them whenever you want to meet them" and that made me smile....
He soothes my soul, makes me smile, do crazy things, ensures my security, loves me deeply and most of all doesn't treat me like a typical wife. He values our relationship and me equally and tries best to fulfil all the promises he made at the matrimonial ceremony. You may say it is my good luck and all are not so blessed but trust me, we just need to listen to our hearts and give it a try.
You will come to believe that Someone Somewhere is Made for You...
Cheers!!
God Bless!!
