We light up lamps at our homes every year, let us also Light up our lives with new hopes.
Sweets are exchanged in abundance among families, let us spread sweetness in our words as well.
New clothes are new only for a while, let us broaden our minds with new horizons that take us a long way.
Crackers make noise and brighten the skies simultaneously, let us silence our minds and brighten our souls with inner peace.
We wish that everyone prospers and that Goddess Laxmi showers them with wealth. Let us be wealthy by character, and fill kindness and respect in our hearts and Let us also learn a wiser use of the wealth we own.
