The Reality!!

Me & my Sis were watching Emotional Atyachaar when two of cousins dropped in.
After looking at the TV, one of them asked "You watch this every week?"

"Yes! Its good to see some people doing such a social service where the Lead gets to know what the reality of their partner is." my sis replied.

"You think all this is true? It's all a set up ya..."

The reply had us both taken by surprise...

How easy has it become for people to wrap a script in a way that we actually beleive it to be reality. Coming to think of it logically, is it really possible that out of about 50 cases handled till date, 48 Suspects were tagged Cheat/ Disloyal "Fail in Loyalty Test" as termed by the Crew members.

Has the value of relationship steeped so low in our eyes that irrespective of being a guy or a girl, irrespective of being married, irrespective of being committed for a long or short period of time, People flirt around and cheat their partners without a second thought??

Is this the reality or is the reality hidden?
What are people doing at Big Boss's home? Staying with wierd strangers, doing bizarre things and getting into verbal and physical fights which the audience actually enjoys!!

What are these fights that happen between judges of a show all about??

What about the events where contestants quit the competition or mentors leave the show after an argument...?

Well... The world of television does not have anything for people to learn from, it only has things to entertain irrespective of its content and the impact of such content on the audience... The surprising thing was when one of the "So called cheater on EA" confessed that he knew he was being watched and whatever he did was done knowingly. Well, If someone is getting all the attention without much to do about it, Why wont it be done?

The point is to differentiate... Between the Reality and Floss!!

As far as things on the screens are concerned, let them not be a source of learning at all, Watch it, Enjoy it and Forget it!!

The Reality is what we Learn in Life...

Keep the Learning on!!

Cheers!
God Bless!!

No End!

People say that when relationship ends, everything ends! It seems like an end to one chapter in our lives..

I don't know how many of you agree with that but I totally disagree.
Because... From the time I've started recognizing people, I have hardly forgotten... Names may have escaped my mind but if I see them after years, I can say that I've known them some where, some time...

If this is the case with people we once knew, how can we forget those with whom we have been acquainted more closely?
Be it a friend who betrayed you
Or Someone who's no longer alive
Be it the one you love/ loved and lost
Or the one you disliked the most

Relationships may end but everything does not!!

You still have them in the back of your minds, You think of them when you pass by places that you'd been to. A movie you watched together can bring back some memories. A situation you see someone else going through reminds you of your state. Any event, place, thing or name may take you back to the time when that person was around...

It is impossible for one to forget people who occupied a different place in our heart and mind. So never try to forget someone. Accept the circumstances and keep walking ahead...

You may physically not see them or talk to them but some unspoken conversation happens at different stages of our lives...

People with special places live with us forever!!!

Cheers to all those special people!!
God Bless!!

The Look!

How many of us have observed the makeover Bangalore is having?
I'm sure we've all noticed it...

Wondering what I'm talking about?
Well.. Its not the metro project or the roads that have been tarnished because of it.
Its not the various deviations we have to take while traveling.
Its not the development in 'Once extension areas' which are now a part of Bangalore
And its neither about the new international airport BIAL!!
Its about some very simple yet prominent things...

The paintings made on the walls on the sides of the roads. I've observed them at Sheshadripuram, towards Lalbagh West Gate and towards KR circle...

These are some impeccable pieces of art made by not so famous artists. They depict everything about our city and state from farmers to fishermen, parrots, peacock, tigers, horses, elephants, languors, from temples to palaces, from gardens to lakes and some beautiful monuments which are a part of our heritage.

There are captions above and below the sceneries reminding us what the core of our being is...

They are not just some paintings, they depict our true self and where we come from. No wonder they are made by unknown people but their work is commendable. I thoroughly appreciate the fact that someone has had the brains to think of something like this, find people who do it and actually get it done. I'm sure a lot of people not only got employed but also had an opportunity to showcase their talent. Its not on a TV show or at a national level. But painting walls of the city portraying our base and culture is not a small thing either.

Have a look at them when you pass by such walls, I'm sure you will forget your worries, work and tensions and just want to enjoy the look of them. They take you to another world and beautify the City in a very innovative and amazing way!!

Have a Look at the New Look and you'll Love the Look!!

Cheers!!
God Bless!!

Make it Work!

I visited a website where an anonymous female threw this topic open for discussion.
She asked "If trust has been broken... Can it ever be gotten back?

I read a all the replies that she'd got. A few of them said It may be rebuilt, some said it can't be, some agreed that it can be but only to a limit. But the best and most honest reply I found was by a male who said "IN ONE WORD, NO!"

To be honest, I agree with the guy completely on this. I feel trust one broken can never be repaired. Even if it is, the scars will stay.

There was another post that I agree with...
"If You want to make it work, You will!!"

Trust is no doubt an important factor in any relationship. No matter the type of relationship, be it romantic, friendly, or between parent and child, an essential ingredient is trust and it can't be the same after being broken but if you really want to make the relationship work, the one who broke the trust should prove to be worthy and the other should forget the past. Yes, it does take time and its better to take time and heal a wound rather than leaving it to give you sorrow forever.

"Let your anger out.
Resolve to let it out and then let it go.
Give someone a second chance only if you rate that person to be worthy.
Know that things can never go back to the way they once were and keep your eyes wide open to future betrayals.

Once you've decided you will make it work, it becomes a lot easier to look at the happy sides and leave the tears behind..

The key is not to let time alone to heal it every time.
The key is to believe in the relationship and Make It Work!!

Cheers!!
God Bless!!

Price or Value...

While having a discussion about the change in prices of commodities, My uncle said that he had purchased gold at a price of rupees 400 - 450 per gram about ten years ago. Silver was rupees 6,000 a kg.
Even at that time, People purchased a limited quantity of them.

Observing the trend today, people buy more since they can afford more. But The prices are ever rising. Gold is over rupees two thousand a gram and silver is rupees 44,000 and is increasing rapidly.

One night while I was watching TV, a newsreader was suggesting viewers various avenues of investment. I wondered what is this yellow and white metal that is gaining prices that are shooting unbelievably high.
To be honest, the artificial jewelery available in silver and gold colors cannot be differentiated from the real ones unless checked or tested. You buy artificial stuff and flaunt like it is real metal. Then what is it that is behind these crazy prices.

You'd Think what has made me write about Metal today.
My point is not Metal, It is the Price...

What I want to throw light on at this point is that people today are very familiar about the Prices of everything but it is sad that the Value of nothing is known.

Thinking on very basic lines, we can say what is the Price of gold but we can't really explain what its Value is!!

Students bunk classes and don't mind paying penalty fee to get their hall ticket. Why not maintain the minimum attendance?

Riders skip traffic signals and then pay fine. Why not follow traffic rules?

Youth spend a lot of money on movie tickets but fail to realize the value of the other's time.

We all eat lavish food at restaurants and usually some quantity of it is left even after we're done eating. Why don't we get it packed and give it to someone on the roadside who's hungry?

We send a lot of birthday and anniversary wishes to people and after that don't talk to them until the same day arrives the next year. Isn't the Relationship with that person important or we just want to complete formalities?

I hope at least one of the points I mentioned above sounds relevant to you.
Understand and Respect the Value of things rather than knowing just the Price...

It is a thought provoking thought that has changed my life and I'm sure it will change your's too...

Cheers!!
God Bless!!

Impulse...

What can impulse make you do???

Have you noticed people say "I'm sorry I dint mean what I just said"?
Have you realized you should not have done something that you've done long back?
We many times feel that we should have helped someone or we should have thought more before deciding a particular thing or we simply feel we should have spoken to someone or taken an advice before moving ahead with something....

We think...
But the trouble is that we give it a thought after it is done.
We do things and later realize it should not have been this way...

No one is to be blamed for this and blaming does not help either...
Impulse...
It is all done impulsively and majority of the times, impulsive decisions only damage things...

I have seen relationships break, people suffer, friends depart and hearts broken because of a moment of impulse...

It is just a request to everyone who's reading this to practice and advice your near and dear one's to think.. and think wisely before taking decisions...
Impulse is for a few seconds... but the outcomes and consequences are to be born for months, years and sometimes in for life!!!

Think well.. Think Wise...

Cheers!!
God Bless!!
